Softball Defense

Positions

A softball field contains of nine players:

  • Pitcher
  • Catcher
  • First Base
  • Second Base
  • Shortstop
  • Third Base
  • Center Field
  • Left Field
  • Right Field

The key to being a good defensive player is to always be on your toes and always make sure that the play is completely over before you take your eyes off the ball.
